Miyazaki’s sake is brewed by the artisans utilizing the water and rice produced in brewing favorable climate. Sake is a Japanese alcoholic drink that is recognized globally. Akashi Shuzo Sake Brewery
Akashi Sake Brewery was founded in 1884 in Ebino, one of the leading rice fields in Southern Kyushu. Originally, the brewery started making sake while farming, and all employees plant rice and grow rice by reducing pesticides. The groundwater that springs from the Kirishima mountain range, which is suitable for preparing shochu, uses golden Sennuki for sweet potatoes, which are the main ingredient of shochu. It has gained a lot of support for its aftertaste.

Kagura Shuzo Sake Brewery
Kagura Shuzo was founded in 1954 in Takachiho Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, the mythical hometown, and has a company motto of “delivering excellent shochu to our customers.”. Since 2009, they have set up a new factory in Saito City, where potato making is popular, and they met the clear Saito Shimizu in the Saito City Shimizu district, which is ideal for brewing. Sakuranosato Shuzo Sake Brewery
Inoue Sake Brewery is a traditional brewery that has been in business for over 100 years since it was founded in 1894 (Meiji 27). In 1983, they developed vacuum distillation technology and started the production of 100% vacuum distillation potato shochu for the first time in Japan. At that time, atmospheric distillation was in the limelight in the mainstream, and in addition to potato shochu, wheat, soba, rice shochu, and coconut shochu (dates) were manufactured and sold. In November 1994, an affiliated company “Sakura no Sato Brewing Partnership Company (currently Sakura no Sato Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.)” was established to utilize the manufacturing technology cultivated at Inoue Sake Brewery to manufacture barley shochu with state-of-the-art equipment.
