Japanese Sake from the First Lady – Yamato no Kokoro

In this sake video, for the second year in a row, First Lady Akie Abe has released her brand of sake, Yamato no Kokoro (Spirit of Japan). A sake beverage made from Mrs. Abe organic rice in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

First Lady Akie Abe opens a barrel of newly made “Yamato no Kokoro” sake with many guests to mark the sake’s release in Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo. The sake, with 750 bottles hitting the market of Oct. 1, was made from rice Abe grew in Yamaguchi Prefecture and brewed in Fukushima Prefecture.
