Japanese Sake Making Process

In this sake video, it shows a complete tour of a Japanese Sake brewery, illustrating in details the essential steps for the making of traditional Sake. “Kurabito”, also known as the sake craftsman, follows the sake brewing traditions that has been passing down for centuries. Five crucial elements are involved in brewing sake — water, rice, technical skill, yeast, and weather. More than anything else, sake is a result of a brewing process that uses rice and lots of water. The ingredients are simple, but to make quality sake, the efforts behind are admirable.

As you can see in the sake video, sake making requires careful care, long time, laborious work, profound knowledge and very high skills of sake brewers, which reflects an aspect of Japanese diligent culture.
